Registered Behavior Technician
At Allium Behavioral Services, we provide compassionate, evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy that helps children and families grow, thrive, and build meaningful skills at home, in school, and throughout their community. Our clinic-based ABA services support children across Baltimore City and Baltimore County through individualized treatment plans designed to promote positive behavior, communication, independence, and long-term success.
Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) are an essential part of our clinical team. We are committed to providing a supportive, collaborative environment where RBTs receive ongoing mentorship, professional development, and clinical guidance to strengthen their skills and advance their careers in Applied Behavior Analysis.
As a small, clinician-led organization, our co-founders remain actively involved in providing clinical supervision and supporting daily operations. We’re looking for compassionate, dedicated Registered Behavior Technicians who are passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families while growing alongside an experienced and supportive team.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in clinic based sessions
- Implement treatment plans and related protocols developed by the BCBA
- Collect electronic data to monitor the progress
- Write progress updates on treatment goals after each session
- Participate in team meetings and trainings
- Ensure client safety
- Maintain a positive environment rapport with clients & families.
- Follow all procedures and policies
- Maintains monthly supervision records as required by the BACB
- Abide by the RBT Ethics Code
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree or pursuing a degree in Psychology or a related field (e.g., education)
- 1-2 years experience in working with children preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- BLS/CPR certification or willing to obtain certification within 30 days of hire
- 40 hours of RBT competency completed or willing to complete within 60 days of hire
- Must hold and maintain RBT certification as issued by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) and plans to renew certification or be willing to obtain within 90 days of hire
